DOCTORS

Dr Neil McCarthy

MBBS, FACRRM

Dr Neil McCarthy completed his medical studies at the University of Sydney in 1986, then moved to Dubbo in 1990 to train for rural general practice. Dr McCarthy has worked in Warren and Narromine throughout his medical career and is keen o see quality general practice thrive in rural areas. Dr McCarthy's particularly interested in general practice management and the development of technology to improve health and health services.


Neil enjoys reading, gardening and spending time with his family when not working and has recently begun to follow the Panthers NRL team.


Dr Niro Wickramasinghe

MBBS, FRACGP, DCH

Dr Niro Wickramasinghe completed her primary medical degree at Kelaniya University in Sri Lanka in 2003. 

Before migrating to Australia in 2012 with her family, Dr Niro worked in the ICU and Neonatology areas alongside being a GP. Niro completed her AMC exams in 2013, Diploma in Child Health from University of Sydney in 2015 and her Fellowship of Royal College of General Practice in 2017.

 

Dr Niro started working in Narromine in 2014 and has been enjoying her work as a GP in the Narromine community since then. 

 

Dr Niro's main clinical interests are women and child health and wholistic management of patients with chronic complex medical issues as Narromine Medical Centre believe in team work to achieve best outcomes for our patients.

 

When Dr Niro is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music and gardening. 

 

Dr Allison Vincent 

Bsc, MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Allison Vincent graduated from the University of Queensland in 2008. After

completing her post graduate hospital experience, she completed her general

practice training in Dubbo and Gilgandra. 


Dr Vincent enjoys all aspects of general practice with a particular interest in women’s and children’s health.

Dr Vincent lives with her husband and three young children on a farm near Trangie,

and in her spare time enjoys all that farm life has to offer, waterskiing, gardening and cooking.


Dr Vicky Owen

MBBS, BMed  Sci (hons), DCH, FRACGP

Dr Vicky Owen studied medicine at the university of Sydney and moved to Dubbo with the school of Rural Health in 2010. Dr Owen completed her internship and residency at Dubbo Base Hospital with a focus on general medicine/surgery, pediatrics, and emergency medicine.

Since 2015 Dr Owen has worked part-time in general practice in Dubbo and Narromine. The other part of her time is spent raising her 3 boys. 

Dr Owen is passionate about rural family medicine. Dr Owen is motivated to provide excellent medical care for all her patients. 

Outside of work Dr Owen enjoys spending time with her family, being part of a church community, yoga and gardening.


Dr Kelly Bradley

MBBS, DRANZCOG ADV, FRACGP

Dr Kelly Bradley completed her medical degree in Sydney & Lithgow at the University of Notre Dame in 2014,  before returning home to Dubbo to work as a Junior Doctor in Dubbo Base Hospital, before completing her DRANZCOG Advanced GP specialty training in Obstetrics in Dubbo Base Maternity Unit. Dr Bradley then completed her GP Registrar training whilst working as a GP/Obstetrician & GP/Emergency Medical Officer in Bathurst, Mudgee & Dubbo.


Dr Bradley is passionate about rural health, delivery of health care to Rural Australians and Future Rural Health Workforce, and spends her time between GP and Dubbo Base Emergency Department. Dr Bradley is particularly interested in Women's health, Obstetrics and Shared Antenatal Care, Paediatrics and Mental Health.


Dr Bradley enjoys travelling rural Australia, time on the farm, playing and coaching hockey and spending time with her family.


Dr Manori Rodrigo

Dr Rodrigo study to become a doctor at the Sri Lankan University of Peradeniya finishing in 2003. Dr Rodrigo moved to Australia with her family in 2021, where she completed her Australian exams in 2021 and started working in Narrabri NSW. Manori has special interests in Chronic Desease Management and Womens Health.

When not working Manori likes Watching TV, family time & travelling.

Dr Ni Ni Zin

Dr Zin studied to become a doctor in Myanmar, South East Asia and passed her Australian exams in 2017. Dr Zin worked for 2.5 years in Ipswich Hospital, then began her GP registrar training in 2020. 

Dr Zin is an only child who when growing up wanted to be a Architectural Engineer. Ni Ni special interests  are skin cancers and when not at work she enjoys gardening, watching movies and reading novels.
